  • Sheet Metal Fasteners
  • List
  • PSM International’s Sheet Metal Fasteners provide deep tapped female threads or studs to be used in conjunction with thin sheet metallic materials. The fastener is permanently attached to the parent material allowing the associated bolt (or nut) to be removed without risk of the fastener becoming dislodged. This feature has allowed industry to streamline production methods and fabricate complex shapes including closed box sections. Our sheet metal fasteners include Self-Clinching Fasteners, our Anchor® Rivet Bush series, unique FLANGEFORM® fasteners, and our high strength GRIPFORM® fasteners.

  • PULLEY STUD®

Pulley Stud® is a patented design used in automotive window regulator assemblies within a car door. The pulley Stud captives the pulley wheel whilst still allowing it to freely rotate as the window opening mechanism is operated. The Pulley Stud is assembled to the window regulator pressing using a simple press fitted assembly process. It has a male threaded stud that is used to mount the window regulator to the inside of the door assembly.

  • SELF CLINCHING NUT

The P-S & P-CLS Clinching Nut is a threaded fastener which incorporates a knurled platform and a groove. This knurled platform, when embedded in the sheet, causes the displaced material to flow evenly into the groove of the fastener to give a positive retention.

  • SELF CLINCHING STUD

The P-FH Clinching Stud is a threaded fastener which incorporates a knurled platform under the head. When embedded in the sheet material, it displaces material into the clinch ring securing the fastener.

  • SELF-CLINCHING STANDOFF

Self-Clinching Standoffs are designed to serve as spacers or distance pieces. A simple squeezing action embeds the hexagonal head into the sheet causing the displaced metal to flow into the clinching groove.

  • FLUSH SELF-CLINCHING NUT

P-F Flush Self-Clinching Nuts have been designed to provide a thread within the sheet thickness to provide a flush finish to both sides. A simple squeezing action embeds the hexagonal head into the sheet, while the displaced metal flows evenly round the back tapered shank securely locking it into place.

  • FLANGEFORM® NUTS

FLANGEFORM® Nuts are threaded fasteners with unique ribs designed for installation into thin gauge materials. The fastener plunges the prepunched hole and wraps itself around the material whilst the ribs embed themselves providing an integral high strength attachment point.

  • FLANGEFORM® STUDS

FLANGEFORM® Studs are threaded fasteners with unique ribs designed for installation into thin gauge materials. The fastener plunges the pre-punched hole and wraps itself around the material whilst the ribs embed themselves providing an integral high strength attachment point. Flangeform studs are available with dog-points, plain shank and shouldered.

  • FLANGEFORM® CLOSED END NUTS

FLANGEFORM® Closed End Nuts are threaded fasteners with unique ribs designed for installation into thin gauge materials. The fastener plunges the pre-punched hole and wraps itself around the material whilst the ribs embed themselves providing an integral high-strength attachment point. The one piece design provides a water tight seal, ideal for roof rack applications or when sealing is required.

  • FLANGEFORM® BALL STUDS

Flangeform® Ball Studs are one piece attachments with unique ribs designed for installation into thin gauge materials. The ball stud plunges the pre-punched hole and wraps itself around the material whilst the ribs embed themselves providing a high strength attachment point with exceptional bending moment properties. The ball stud can be manufactured with a large or small head.

  • HIGH-PERFORMANCE CLINCHING STUDS

High-Performance Clinching Studs are designed to bring higher levels of performance to the P-FH range of fasteners for applications that do not demand a flush head condition.

  • SELF CLINCHING STUDS FOR STAINLESS STEEL SHEETS

P-FH4 Studs are made out of heat-treated 400 series stainless steel, and can be installed into stainless steel material as thin as 0.40” (1.0mm) with a hardness of 92 HRB.

  • BLIND NUTS (P-B / P-BS)

Blind Nuts will encapsulate the internal loose fastener. The blind nut is a quicker and more economical method compared to loose nut and screw-type hardware which require special seals.

  • MINIATURE NUTS (P-FE / P-FEO / P-FEX / P-FEOX)

Self-Clinching Miniature Nuts provide strong threads in a minimum of space. Miniature Nuts are made out of 300 series stainless steel and are available with self-locking threads and non-locking threads.

  • ASL TYPE

The ASL type has been designed to incorporate the benefits of nylon collar lock nuts into a serrated Anchor Rivet Bush with a reusable nylon locking element fitted into the rear of the bush.

  • SELF-CLINCHING PILOT PIN

The Self-Clinching Pilot Pin is a plain stainless steel un-threaded fastener. It incorporates a platform under the head, which when embedded in the sheet, displaces material into the clinch ring securing the fastener firmly in place. Used for location, pivot and alignment applications.

  • BROACHING NUTS (P-KF2)

Broaching Nuts are used with printed circuit boards and other hard or brittle materials. In addition, they can be used on materials too thin for threading, such as acrylic and polycarbonate panels.

  • BROACHING STUDS (P-KFH)

Broaching Studs are used with printed circuit boards and other hard or brittle materials. In addition, since they feature an electro tin plating, they can be used as solderable connectors.
